Sky HD Digital Receiver
The first model from the launch of the biggest revolution in TV for
years, Sky's HD (high definition), brought to you in the form of the
Thomson DSI8215 HD digital receiver. This digibox brings you a cinema
like experience in your own home with sharper, clearer, more vibrant
pictures and amazing Dolby Digital 5.1 sound quality on many
programmes.  
Also including a 300GB hard drive allowing you to record approx 150
hours of digital TV using Sky+ functionality. To watch HD, you must
have a HD-ready or compatible TV and Sky subscription through us
(£10 p/month in addition to monthly subscription costs). Sky+ is
available for free with our sports, movies or premium subscriptions
(otherwise £10 p/month). Sky+
is free to sky HD subscribers, to make use of the sky plus facility you
need a
dual output LNB or better since the receiver needs two down leads from
the dish.

Please note, we do not sell these units without cards, you must take out a
new or additional sky subscription with us when purchasing a HD box from us.
